What is the GBIT?
The Green Bay Soccer Invitational (GBIT) began in 1984 and is collabratively sponsored by 4 area soccer clubs:. Ashwaubenon Storm, FC Green Bay, Green Bay Lightning and Howard Hurricanes.
The Tournament has hosted teams from Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, Iowa and Michigan over the past 26 years, and is expecting between 130 and 150 teams for 2012.
Who can participate?
The GBIT is open to elite, premier and select competitive teams, male and female, ages U11 through U19.
How much can I expect to play?
All teams will participate in at least three games. U11-U14 matches will last for 60 minutes, and U15 to U19 matches will last for 70 minutes.
When will GBIT games start and end?
Games will begin Friday evening, beginning at 5:00 PM, and end on Sunday, no later than 6:00 PM.
Where will the Tournament be played?
All games will be played at Spring Green and Azko Noble parks (located in the village of Howard). Please see “fields” link for directions. All semi-final and championship games will be played at Azko Nobel on Sunday.
